  1. For people of my generation, Francis Lopez had his Sonny Cabatu moment. DLSU defense did its job pressuring UP and kept them from scoring. KQ with a transcendent performance, the UAAP should kick him out and let him wreak havoc elsewhere. JD Cagulangan did his best but the basketball gods were not kind to him. To be fair to Lopez, he would be one of the heroes had they won the game. Poise is still something you develop. I hope he learns from this.

  2. Everything was a loss of composure for UP, missing all the 3s and the FTs obviously. Then the bobbled pass leading to the Torres clear path, Abadiano hesitation between a swing pass and a dribble leading to a turnover, Lopez rushing to pass the ball after the rebound, and even the last play JD threw it too high for Lopez breaking the play.

The Torres ejection, leading to UP going with Bayla over Alarcon cause of the foul trouble just killed them.

UP for real needs a day retreat or something to get out of their own heads to close it in game 3

  3. It really all comes down to which coaching staff uses its players the right way in the fourth and in the game last night—- and I felt the gambles Topex made worked while the decisions Gold did didn’t work.

I do not understand why the heck he would put in Bayla at that point, ayan KQ instantly shot over him. And sorry but any coach would pull out a player na nagkakalat na the way Lopez was.
