  1. I can excuse the first play Hall gave up, most corners can't handle Pitts very well…however, once his confidence was shaken and he gave up more plays he looked really bad and we can't have that.

  2. Mike White was a great story last year – for one game – but the only thing he has going for him over Streveler right now is that he's 6'5" and Streveler is only 6'1". But Streveler's game fits LaFleur's scheme better as it's "somewhat" similar to Zach's. He's mobile and uses his legs to create space. He just needs to know when to slide more as it's now 2 games in a row where he took on a defender head-on while running beyond the LOS. White is more of a pocket passer.

  3. I'd be very disappointed if the Jets cut Cager, I'm not sure they are going to be able to get him on the practice squad without someone picking him up. He gives you versatility being able to play WR and TE which could be a big deal if Mims gets cut and Davis is the only WR with any size.

  4. Streveler and Cager hope they make the team I have been impressed by them , at some point wich it would be Sunday the starters NEED to get some field time , Salah is treating this off season as if they are all made out of glass. Last he needs to STOP being a players friend and start being a coach before it can cost him his job .

  5. Streveler played well. Cager played well. Wesco didn't play well. Maybe Douglas could trade Wesco to Houston. They need a TE. Mariota played well as did Ridder. Anae had a really good game. Does he stick or a victim of the numbers game? Parks played well also. Tony Adams played well, but, don't think he plays much. The trouble with Perine like Cager is they are on the DL a lot.

  6. Mims "drop" that led to the int was still kind of impressive as the pass was behind him, he turned his body middair to adjust, the DB in front of him got a hand on it, he still managed to focus and get two hands on it, only for the safety to run through his hands and make the int. Otherwise, we might be talking about the catch of the game. I still hope he sticks around. Our receiver room still needs the depth as I still worry the injury bug is still around our team

  7. I don't want to hear anymore how awesome the Jets look in practice from the media and gullable jets fans, when they come out in preseason and play like absolute garbage. I don't care if the first team didn't play. The lack of discipline from this team was horrible and once again Saleh is on the sidelines like a statue. Arthur Smith was chewing out his players for dumb penalties

  8. Cager, Mims, Streveler, Anae, Perrine, Marshall, Clemons and Knight making some plays! And I agree 100% with you on Parks. Let's hope this next game shows the Jets are ready to take that next step!!!

  9. Streveler is a keeper……..so far looks better than wilson/……..but if salah's defense gets shredded again by the opponents starting QB and first team offense…..FIRE SALAH !!!!!! I wish we picked arthuer smith as head coach…..salah looks lost…….

  11. JJ had a good game as well creating pressure, and showing power. Also call me a big fan of JJ but hoping Zuerlein wins the Job so Mims and JJ can do a # swap. JJ #11 and Mims #15.

  12. I didn’t expect our 2’s and 3’s to ball against the ATL 1’s. Once again our backups beat up on their backups. What that tells me is our 1’s should surprise a lot of times, especially during the first few weeks (assuming we continue our healthy play). Streveler is making a strong case to oust White as the #3 QB on this roster. He plays hungrier and runs hard! The last preseason game will determine the status of Mims. If he continues on this path he will stick, as he is blooming late.

  13. Saleh is terrible. He has one system predicated on pass rush from the DL. If it doesn't work he cant adjust. 32nd ranked D last year, and two horrible defensive 1st halves this year
