Man the memories but I played it on n64 had the blue controller bundle
I remember when i was child i used to rent & play this game all the time from our local video store when physical video stores still existed & i enjoyed it alot it's cool see someone playing now
So you said this came out in 2000 but n64 had directional focus with buttons and 1 stick way before that. PlayStation was lacking

Really enjoyed watching i remember playing this as a kid i was 8 when i last played this it was one of my favourites watching this reminded me of playing others like abes odyssey small soldiers and rugrats wish they would bring some of the ps1 classics back.
